About Me
Ava-Grayce Gregson is an aspiring performer who began her journey at only eighteen months old when she attended her first baby ballet class. Since then, her training has gone from strength to strength, concentrating on her acting, dancing and singing to pursue her dream career within the arts. Ava-Grayce is currently training in a HNC course in musical theatre where she hopes to progress her training for future drama schools, alongside her professional gig work and working as a character performer.

DANCING
Ava-Grayce has always participated in dance for as long as she can remember, with her first baby ballet class being introduced at only 18 months old. Although at this young age Ava-Grayce didn't know she wanted to pursue a career within the arts, as she started to attend more classes and started competing she knew where her drive led her and what paths she was meant to cross. With training in styles such as: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Commercial, Hip-Hop, Latin, Ballroom, Classical Sequence, and Theatre Jazz - Ava-Grayce has proudly achieved 10 British titles and 3 British open to the world titles in Classical Sequence. through this, she was proudly nominated for a La Classique De Dance Award in 2018 and achievably won the award (after being nominated again the following year) presented by the Strictly Come Dancing stars themself.

SINGING
When Ava-Grayce graduated from her juvenile career when she was 12 years old, she knew she needed to make a decision in which road she wanted to pursue: whether it was strict dance or musical theatre. Ava-Grayce knew she always had a passion to sing from a young age, even though she had never had any professional training in the genre itself. When she finished competiting, Ava-Grayce decided to take up professional voice coaching to increase her abilities turning her passions into realities - and she certainly did that! Growing up Ava-Grayce and her family loved to listen to music, especially live in restaurants and bars - Ava-Grayce quotes 'It used to inspire me, making me feel at ease, hoping one day I could work hard to do something like these inspiring people where doing'. Ava-Grayce soon grew her confidence in singing to the next level performing on stage at events in front of huge crowds of up to thousands of people: Christmas light switch on's, leading singer of bands, and in the middle of local towns for charity's and town markets. Ava-Grayce wanted to push her passions and start pursuing her own gigs, where she would be a solo vocalist performing in all venue sizes for all occasions. Ava-Grayce knew this would be a big investment in herself as everything takes time to grow, but the way her chapter has unfolded is something she is very proud of. Ava-Grayce quotes, ' I absolutely love privately singing for people, whether it's their beautiful big wedding day, birthday or in a bar/restaurant. It fills me with so much happiness and proudness as it is something i have always wanted to do.' Ava-Grayce hopes she inspires her listeners just like they inspired her.

ACTING
Since joining many associate programmes, Ava- Grayce's acting has increased more and more in her skills through training within acting. With taking acting more seriously, she has been given opportunities that have gained her skills further and gained her economic income to support her financially allowing her to move forward with her passion within the arts. On the weekend, she takes part in working for a children's entertainment company, where she leads parties dressing as fiction characters: fairies, pirates, mermaids and princess'. This intense role requires her to be punctual, have excellent customer service and presence in how she looks. although costumes are provided, she needs to make sure her nails, hair and makeup is perfect so children are believed by the whole experience and are fascinated just like a fictional character would be. By doing this, it has given her opportunities and given her the chance to practise being a fictional character for future references if she ever ends up within company's like Disney. Ava-Grayce says that being a different character every week makes her be completely versatile with her acting as each character is different. This sets her in a good position for the future as she never knows which character shed be playing, making her open and versatile to act differently.
